Linda Hayden starred in her second film, Taste The Blood of Dracula, when she was only sixteen years old. Her debut had come two years earlier, playing sultry teenage slut Luci in the erotic exploitation flick Baby Love. In Taste The Blood of Dracula, the sexy teenager went up against one of the most imposing screen vampires of all time: Christopher Lee’s Dracula. This was Hayden’s only role in a Hammer film, but not her only role in the horror genre. She went on to star with such notable horror actors as Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. She also went up against David Niven as Dracula in Vampira (aka Old Dracula) in 1974. This film also featured fellow Hammer Hottie Veronica Carlson in a small role.

One of Hayden’s most sought-after films is The House On Straw Hill (aka Expose). It was announced as a region-one DVD release in 2004, but has yet to see the light of day. It still remains one of the UK’s “Video Nasty”, part of a list of films national censors have deemed unfit for viewing.
