Stronghold: Definitive Edition is the latest entry in the strategy series Stronghold. Released in November 2023, it is basically a remaster of the original game from 2001. It features upgraded visuals, tweaked audio, a new campaign, and fully functional multiplayer. Overall, it brings back the classic gameplay into a modernized era. The first DLC, which features another campaign, was released in February 2024 under the name Swine’s Bay.
