I bought a hot-smoked fallow deer roast directly from a farm 12 days ago and put it in the fridge. On the lable it says it expires March 2025, and that it should be kept refrigerated. But everywhere i look online it says hot-smoked meat only lasts a few days in the fridge. What is correct here?
